From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
His Normal Life

Times getting harder
World getting colder
Shifting weight trying to
Balance it on his shoulders
It used to be simpler
Back when he was younger
Now trying to play smarter
Trudging through the showers
Praying God gives him power
Strength to weather the storms
Reminiscing to when it was normal
By his side was a dime piece
Nice, thick, and caramel
Not car-a-mel, but carmel
Never looked at his time piece
Cause he thought with their hearts
They were playing for keeps
The world became warmer
Times got easier
Burden on his shoulders
Slightly decreasing brah
So soon he was wrong
Back to the storms
That's when he knew
This was the norm
