Rhymes From The Heart


Rhymes from the heart
Due to rhythms of their hearts
Coming from a little spark
They felt from the start

He dismissed this
Though she sent him
Subliminal messages

Noticing True Beauty
It took half a year
Before they sealed their unity

His love he wore on his sleeves
He couldn't begin to believe
The moment when it came
She was due to leave

Feelings failing to dissipate
He pulled back
For his and her sake
She couldn't believe he didn't wait

She's over there wondering
What he's doing over here
Both of them
Sending up the same prayers

Both avoiding the obvious
Admitting true feelings
Yet this we can all see
Just by how they get jealous
