THE PHONE CALL

Hello Gramma, it's Mikel!
Are you coming to "me house?"
Crafts we can do-paper oozing glue
and colored sparkles all over you!
Shapes of paper round, star and square,
can you draw me a bear?
Did you know that I love you?
Gramma! Sit for a while!
"Tell me a story about the big green truck that got stuck
on the mountain road, that carried a heavy load!"
Did you know that I can count to ten?
If you'd tell me what number to begin!
Gramma I've got to go-
Cause Ma, Ma wants the phone, and Christopher bit my toe!
And Stephen hid my candy bowl-
Bye Gramma, I love you so!
I'm out of chocolate pudding! Can you get me some at the store?
Bring Grandpa, I've got a surprise!
"Don't forget to close your eyes!"
Bye, I love you!
