The Way You Speak to Me
You ask me and never order
You challenge me with questions not statements
You praise me expecting nothing in return
You never say you can't or won't
You kiss me when you want to quiet me
You hold my hand and keep quiet when I'm tense
You speak clearly and not in code
You treat me as an equal
You tell me who I am and not who you want
You call me things like partner and friend
