EAST AND WEST

*~*EAST AND WEST*~*

As the sun rises in the East
This is the time I`ll miss you least
For I`ll be lying next to you
Our love fresh like the morning dew.

Once we have risen from our bed
We`ll stand beneath the shower head,
Bathing each other from top to toe
Starting the day with a warm glow.

Breakfast together we will eat
Across the table our eyes meet,
Ready and fresh to start the day
Then soon we will be on our way.

Parting now as we go to work
These are duties we cannot shirk,
We must part for a little while
And because of this I can`t smile.

Now I start to miss you so
I hope the time will quickly go,
I miss you once we are apart
With you goes a piece of my heart.

Now the sun`s setting in the West
This is the time I love the best,
We`ll soon be lying in our bed
We won`t sleep we`ll make love instead.
