 Penniluck's legacy

South Pacific

Written while visiting New Zealand on North Island by the sea. September/October 2007

South Pacific at my door
Pure white horses rush to shore
Galloping upon the sand
Cannot wait to get to land

Rushing Rending Roaring sea
Rolling in to welcome me
As I sit upon the hill
Hyperactive, never still

Changing Churning, Charming too
`Specially when a stately blue
Shining Shimmering Sunshine rays
Different moods for different days

Majestically he lets you see
`Though sometimes quiet he can be
The master of all he surveys
A wild child in many ways

Do not ever get the notion
You can rule this moody ocean
