Seeking Truth
It is because of faith I speak,
For in the Word its truth I seek;
Without the Word I do not dare,
See the truth from God who is fair.
Our faith is really the same,
For reaching out and to proclaim;
And we are all on the same course,
Because we quote from the same source.
No matter if a Lutheran,
Baptist or Presbyterian;
Lord Jesus was raised from the grave,
As to sin no longer a slave.
The body slowly dies each day,
And the hair maybe turning gray;
But our faith grows and matures,
Each time opening Scripture doors.
So we keep our minds on things,
From God and the blessings He brings;
And faith on what we can not see,
In Him that shall forever be.
