In Giving Thanks
I am grateful for the things,
That our Lord Jesus brings;
As I think of Him again,
Blissful with a loud Amen.
Christ does give to me the strength,
To face things at any length;
Because His words are sincere,
Urging me to persevere.
I'm content with what I got,
Knowing I don't need a lot;
No complaints of not enough,
Nor thinking that life is tough.
Rather show others I care,
Be thankful willing to share;
Of all that the Lord has blessed,
When I have made a request.
So I would like to pay back,
Some of those that maybe lack;
The gifts I do not deserve,
In being blessed as I serve.
