LIES LIES LIES
“Does my bum look big in this?”
Okay, if it does,
Then tell me!
I might frown and
Mutter under my breath, but
Honesty
Is the best policy.
Far easier
To tell it like it is,
Than have a complicated charade
To live by.
One little white lie
Has a tendency of
Mushrooming
Into a colossus.
A towering mountain of insecurity
To live with.
Too clever a person is required, with
An intricate memory for such things.
And what's the point anyway?
Tell it like it is!
