What Do You Know About Our Church?
What Do You Know About Our Church?
Go out into the neighborhood
And walk along the streets
Ask this simple question
To everyone you meet
What answer will you get?
And will you be surprised?
Would they see the love in you?
The love of Jesus Christ
Are you reaching to the masses?
Do they know that you exist?
Or are you just a building?
A building they'd never miss
So take the time to ponder
The results of this research
When asking this one question
What do you know about our church?
Is our church making a difference?
To those of them around us
Are we sharing the message?
About the love of Jesus
He came to save the lost
By giving up His life
While nailed upon that cross
He suffered and He died
But there's much more to God's plan
Christ's death was not the end
Because three days later
He arose from the dead
His death is the beginning
For all those who believe
Our lives now have a meaning
Our souls have been set free
So are we true disciples?
That Christ wants us to be
Are we leaving the building?
To help the blind to see
So if you ask this question
What will the neighbors answer?
When asking those around us
What do you know about our church?
