Today I saw you weep,
And I wept too.
Your shell has always seemed impenetrable,
Yet today I saw a touching façade.

I had thought you were cold
And somewhat aloof, or
Decided it was possible shyness.
Today I saw you weep,
And I admired you.

A real man can show his innermost emotions
Without being embarrassed or
Uninhibited feelings.
He is so grounded
And confident in himself,
That mere tears are a sign of strength.

I  admire that strength.
The fortitude.
The power it shows me.

Today I saw a true man
I saw you weep.
