 Penniluck's legacy

Kia Ora

To Angela and Jeff and Gracie, and all the lovely people I met on my trip to New Zealand.

Thank you for the chance you gave
To watch the clouds and see the wave
Dance upon the golden shore
I could never ask for more

To watch the trees move in the breeze
The birds fly down to graze with ease
See the beauty all around
In the sky and on the ground

The hills afar in different light
The mist that softly comes at night
Sun ray patterns on the sea
The lonely gull who calls to me

The rainbows gleaming everywhere
The raindrops falling in my hair
The palm tree standing tall and strong
The joyful sound of birds in song

The Maori voice which tugs my heart
The carvings on the walls and bark
The friendship of the people met
These are things I won`t forget

All through life I will remember
New Zealand in that gold September
Thank you for the memory
It will always stay with me

Kia Ora, not goodbye
As I leave you`ll hear me cry
You will live within my heart
Then we`ll never really part
