I phoned Orange with a problem,
Oh goodness gracious me…
I couldn't understand the fella!
And he couldn't understand me!!!
I needed a little info you see,
So I thought I'd make the call,
And though he couldn't hear me well,
That fella Jason did his all!
I got to tell him why my phone…
Was as bad as bad could be!
Its cos my last brand new one…
Was totally destroyed you see!
And I was under warranty with you,
Well of course I always was you see,
Until my brand new Nokia broke!
And fell apart on me!
Anyway, that's another story,
So we'll skip that one; cos you see;
This particular poem's all about Jason
And how helpful he was to me!!
Like I say I phoned him up,
But alas as I said up there,
The phone call was a waste of time!
This really wasn't fair!
So Jason asked me over and again
What I was trying to say!
But alas, had to give it up,
Cos all was not okay!
He clarified my home number,
So he could call me there,
And after about 10 tries of asking…
He sorted it, cos he'd care!
And though my everyday life situation-
Isn't a very good one for me to be in!
(I guess it's the wheelchair that gives it away,)
That lad's goodness of heart did win!
So he said this was no good at all,
In an emergency, so he said to me,
‘Catherine, you need to phone for help!
If you're in a bad situation you see!'
I guess that's cos I was mugged one day!
While out and about in my chair,
And poor Jason was astounded,
And thought it most unfair!
So he did something that was amazing!
And set about getting me a new phone!
So in case of an emergency,
I can call 999 or someone to help me home!!
Now I know that he is leaving Orange,
And that really is a shame, cos you see!
Its people like him, so good in heart,
That people's hearts like me he'll win!
So please say a great big thank you!
To that Geordie lad so great!
Cos he did his job well!
And I think that it's called fate!!!
I hope that you can find him!
Cos he's a really nice ‘happy chappy'
This Geordie lad named Jason!!
But you better make it snappy!!
