My Legacy Lives On
My legacy lives on
Beyond my days of life
I have been so lucky
To have a strong wife
My kids they believe in me
Just the way I am
I'm proud to be their father
I do the best I can
I know that when I'm gone
My memory will not end
People will still see me
Within my children
I hope I raised them right
And taught them right from wrong
I know I will not worry
When I say so long
Their love for Jesus Christ
Is all that I could want
And when my time comes up
They'll sing a happy song
So as I live my life
And when I am long gone
I can rest assured
My legacy lives on
