Wages
In summary after a long talk
With my great grandpa,
I wrote this poem he loved it,
Said he knew i was listening
A copy was buried with him
You know it's funny
When you're young
You can't make enough money
We want everything we see
Having been brainwashed
We want what is shiny
But when we get to middle age
We start to listen to our elders
We must pay for sin a wage
Example: if you broke a bone
And even if it healed fast
Still you will atone
When we are over half way
We find that all of our actions are now
For entrance to heavens stairway
His praises must be sung
Takes the rest of us a long time
Only the good die young
