Harder Times
Day to day, worry is insane
Foreclosures only the rich gain
Insurance increased by a hurricane
Cost are rising times are hard
They cut up my credit card
Young people join the guard
Days are long still pounding the street
Jobs leaving, getting a job is a real feat
Choose between shelter food and heat
While they ask what can we do
Interview after interview
They say we will call you
Gas is climbing, heating oil too
record profits, what is new?
Is this some sort of Voo Doo?
Don't get sick the budget will break
But the rich for dinner will have steak
Can't they feel how America Aches?
No health insurance
Poverty is endurance
The USA sale a clearance
Where did all the jobs go?
China, India you know
Fair trade agreements blow
One more thought for you
Vote if they let you
Independent, not red, not blue
