 Dear Brother,

Remembering the many games we played
So much fun in our childhood days
One of the games hide and seek
It will be one year next week

You went away to your home on high
We tearfully said our final good-bye
I have had many questions for you
You would know the answers and what to do

You have been missed by so many
Don't know if any
Truly know the greatest gift you gave
Cherished memories of you we save

Autumn with its painted colors will past
As we all know nothing is here to last
A fire out of control rages through my soul
The weather is changing from hot to cold

Friendship is warm some seem like kin
Winter blankets as we settle in
Another old man winter and year will past
Days, weeks, months slip away too fast

So sorry we had to say good-bye
Rest in peace in your home on high
A quiet memorial we all seek
Come this time next week
