Helpful BellhopHe waits at the front door Greets you, when you walk through, This young bellhop Will be helpful to you. He takes your luggage Will carry it down the hall, Show you to your room Wearing his kilt and walking tall. If you decide to tip him He'll vanish in thin air, When your back is turned Meet up with him, if you dare. Copyright Cynthia Jones Apr.12/2007 I found out, that this is a ghost, that haunts the Algonquin Hotel, where my grandfather used to work. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
