 NO    COMMUNICATION

When the words are gone
We sit stunned
Peering at each other
Through a fog of memories
Remember the days we talked
Ten to the dozen
Not pausing for breath
Kissing each other
Like it was our last farewell

Now we sit shoulders hunched
Incapable of uttering a sentence and
By the end
Conversations were so seldom you
Would think we spoke in different language
You gazing at me with troubled expression
Me returning a stony stare

Love has left us behind
Incommunicado
