The brave warriors that blocked the way
Sheltered, protected in midst of fray
How their numbers thinned one by one
What salvation now their day is done

Now firmly stand we to face the foe
Battle weary all, wretched spawn of woe
As we take our turn cruel death to face
Pray sweet youth god speed to take our place
It was much nicer being in the back row letting our parents do life's battles for us. Now we are at the battlefront and I am looking for a deep foxhole!
