In The Blink Of An Eye
Again you missed what could have been
Blessings poured down to cleanse the sin
You live today that cost tomorrow
The time of day yet to be borrowed
You close your eyes to pain that steals
The joy bestowed, alone you feel
But there's a chance to take and run
The peace you seek in one undone
You live to love and die a death
Unknown, unseen with one last breath
You'll breathe and stop and just like that
Life will cease and thats a fact
You turn away but not your cheek
The very thing you need to seek
To turn the tide that drowns your soul
To give you back what someone stole
What will it take but just a glance
To view the you GOD gives a chance
To make amends, to know true love
That keeps calling from high above
Treasured all are, yet blind sometimes
Forget the Son that made the time
For you , for us, forgiven yes
But blink we do and miss His best
