A million ways to meet a man
The adverts always claim
Just scribble down your heart felt need
And there appears your true loves name
First, with bodies squashed into a public bar
Peeping over your G & T
The lingering look of passion
That come and find me plea
Then pushing your empty shopping trolley
A store's ‘Singles Night' was tried
Among the courgettes and yogurts
The aim was to be a bride
So, I sat before my keyboard
Dreaming of lust and sinful night
I entered all my details
Will love come into sight
An email from an unknown
To answer, yes indeed
And meet him at your peril
Danger might lurk--take heed
A funny way to meet, this,
When other ways fall short
But sometimes something happens
And a lesson we are taught
To look for a mate important,
And finding out is a good way,
The Internet is a modern trend to meet a man
Don't knock it, love might just come to stay!
