Emotions At Rest
Life us doth drown in many emotion
Our destiny carved like a path of stone
Quell in submission all the commotion
where there each footfall is trod but alone
Though many companion walk by our side,
to heed and to comfort and pass the day
there comes the moment we have to abide
that alone then we sojourn, come what may
Alas, comes the day with revelation
The masses can't carry us to that place
Excited with pride and trepidation
Timid and awkward we keep up the pace
Smile that we're merry to welcome new quest
Along then tarry, emotions at rest
