Desperate Times
We live in desperate times,
Every day all the crimes;
Engaged against each other,
As brother against brother.
No longer do we respect,
God's Word so many reject;
Just as if a fairy tale,
As stories that have gone stale.
As streams swell with melting snow,
In summer, no longer flow;
With God they have all lost touch,
Interests vanish as such.
And the rationale with hope,
No longer able to cope;
Lost without any water,
Drifting without a plotter.
Desperate times go away,
When you decide not to stray;
And return to your Lord God,
Dwell as you honor and laud.
