I hear the wind starting to howl
very loud and look out the window
to see the leaves swirling round.
The sky is turning a pretty dark
blue gray, and if I am real still
I can hear thunder coming my way.
Soon I hear the splatter of large
rain drops hitting on the roof -
first very slow and then a whole
lot, as the sky darkens to a scary
ugly gray, but the lightning show
makes me want to stay.
The rain no longer little drops,
giving a pleasant plop. Drops now
like little knives cutting in the wind
Thunder is crashing so loud, making the
ground shake with a fright. as the lightning
shoots down to the ground, o' what a sight.
Storms like these are so exciting to see,
because they stir up great hot passion in me.
