Walk Away Slow

As I sit in the darkness remembering your face
With a pained heart arms aching for your embrace
Loneliness settles around my being
As tears start because you are leaving
I know not why you chose to go
Darling please walk away slow
Think about all the joys we have shared
How together our souls we bared
If you find in your heart a tiny flame
Stop turn around and call my name
I will rush on wings to your side
Don't Darling let our love die
Stay and tell me what's in your heart
I can not bear that we should part
For you my one and only my love soars
Please oh please do not go out the door
Tell me why you love me no more
 Please Please Walk away slow
