Infants of the Faith
I speak unto you in carnal,
Rather than in spiritual;
For your faith is more like infants,
Thinking worldly not reverence.
Your faith in Christ is of concern,
Everything you have to learn;
It is milk you are being fed,
Not solid food into your head.
So as babies how I must treat,
Since you can not digest the meat;
In spoon feeding you in the Word,
So you can abide in the Lord.
As a babe that only can crawl,
Faith not strong to be walking tall;
Curiosity tempts within,
For enticing you into sin.
Please, let Christ open up the door,
To spiritually mature;
Giving up your childish ways,
Of growth in spiritual phase.
