We Were Three

let the children play Pictures, Images and Photos

We Were Three

there we were all three
we are in that picture
hanging on the wall
standing there
dressed up
looking straight
at the camera
we were
little then
waiting to have
our picture taken
we were there
at grandma's house
you the oldest
in the middle
of your two sisters
I look at that picture
hanging on the wall
we grew up
went separate ways
looking at that picture
we knew not
what life held
It brings tears
to my eyes
knowing you
are no longer
with us
you
were there
in that picture
hanging on the wall
