An Invitation from the LORD
I say something that is true,
That the Lord is inviting you;
Start coming to Him in prayer,
What is on your mind to share.
No need to be feeling grim,
Go talk it over with Him;
You will feel better inside,
Going to Him and confide.
All those sins are scarlet red,
That are cluttering your head;
And if willing to confess,
The Lord is willing to bless.
They can be whiter than snow,
If you merely let Him know;
Admitting to shame and guilt,
Since the blood of Christ was spilt.
He will help you not to stray,
If you willingly obey;
He will give your just reward,
If you wait upon the Lord.
