Penniluck's legacy
My Trip!
I went for a trip to Auckland
And landed on my bum
I felt like such a bloody fool
I went to turn and run
Sadly friends I could not move
My leg was twice it`s size
My cheeks aflame with direst shame
It made me realize
A visit to the hospital
Was what was on the cards
I`ll ne`er forget that lovely trip
I went the full nine yards
Now I sit upon my deck
Foot raised in on a chair
Watch my holiday go by
It doesn`t seem quite fair
Museums may look nice and safe
But hidden at your feet
Are tricky little ledges
Which I had chance to meet
I`m by the sea so what the hell
I`ll just enjoy the view
Let this be a lesson
My friends to all of you
Never take for granted
The things you cannot see
Or you`ll end up right on your butt
And feel a fool like me.
