AWASH

Awash amongst a sea of mad people
Am I the only sane person here
Where have all the sensible gone
I am alone I fear

Everyone running like headless chucks
All reason completely flown the nest
Why is everyone so exasperated
Pushing themselves to the test

Step onto that hamster wheel
And you will run forever
An opportunity to get off
Will more likely be never

Stay calm and always appear in the know
Never let grip of your sanity
Always keep your eye on the ball
And please……don't use profanity
