The Midnight Hour

Hallow be the night
Of dark and spells of fright
From their coffins they rise

Of voo and doom
Or seduction and gloom
Off they go to surprise

Remember the midnight hour
Fresh blood renews their power
And ensure your demise

Alabaster Skin so pale
So goes this vampire tale
At midnight loud cries

Bodies lay strewn
When found next noon
Excited buzzing flies

Bitten deep the scar glows
Pungent smells fill the nose
Youth and health the prize

_Happy Halloween
