MY ROCK
My rock
My power divine.
Come what may,
You stand beside me
Like a towering oak.
All I need
Are your arms around me
And I fear not.
For you are my anchor
In all the madness
That this silly world
Dispenses on us.
No tear too small
Or worry too large
That your heart saves me
And pulls me back to reality.
Your love
Is the acorn
Which grows inside me.
Succour and kisses.
Your honeyed tears
Are the leaves
Of reason
That rain down on me.
Don't ever leave me
Or I shall die.
