I remember growing up
And one day while watching TV
I wished to fight a life of crime
Turning the world into a better place
A policeman is what I wanted to be
In this dream of mine
While weathering my many storms
I was able to help people
With problems of their own
I now wanted to be a psychologist
To aid as many as I could
Throughout my lifetime
Topped the list of this dream of mine
Someone asked me the other day
About this dream of mine and
Exactly what I wanted to do with my life
I told him this was a matter of the heart
Just as you came our way
Now I finally understand
You left after we shared a sweet kiss
Just as I was about to tell him this
Each day when I gaze into your eyes
And you light my world up with your smile
This is when I realize God is showing me
The sign that you as my wife
