The Harley Motorcycle looked so mean,
but to my brother it was his life's dream.
He kept after me to go for a ride,
just kept saying someday - but I knew it was all just a lie.
The dreaded day that I feared had finally arrived,
and he said "come on let me take you for a ride"
He tried to convince me how safe he would be,
just come on, get on and after the ride you will see.
Putting the helmet on and jumping on the back seat,
I then grabbed my brother's waist and my fingers dug in deep.
He started the bike and away we went, I swear my heart would not survive.
I knew he was going way to fast and kept yelling please, please go SLOW!!
Finally the dreaded ride came to an end, I jumped off as fast as I could.
Shaking and breathless, all I could say was,
couldn't you hear me screaming in your ear.
Instead of understanding the fear he had caused -
he said to me -sister, DEAR,
I never got her out of FIRST GEAR!!!
