Everyday I wake up I thank God for his many blessings that he bestowed upon me.
I thank him that when the sun burst through my windows light is what I see.
Everyday I start it with a prayer of thanks.
Everyday I stay prepared of the curve balls that may be thrown my way.
I may get knocked down but,I promise to continue to pray.
Everyday I will not take for granted that you will supply my every need.
As long as I don't forget where I come from and be over taken by greed.
I will not look at the outside appearance of my fellow man.
I will not be afraid to shake my neighbors hand.
I will not look at the color of someones skin,and automatically judge.
Everyday I will be thankful and extend my hands with love.
Everyday is a new day that I will not take for granted.
Everyday I will call my mother and tell her that I love her very much.
I will promise her that I will always keep in touch.
Everyday I will try to not let he sun go down,
That I will not go to bed angry or upset.
I don't want to be left with disappointment and regret,
That I could have apologized for that little fight we had.
Now you are gone and the memories are left in the back of my head.
Everyday you are so close.
That the one thing I really remember is that I love you the most.
