Some inter strength we all have inside
Or the power to save many who might have died
Does compassion for your fellow man
Help a person meek or strong take a stand
Who knows what lies deep inside
What is it that allows us so far to bend
Than to snap like a rubber band
Taking the situation in hand
Stepping ahead of all the others
Joining the ranks of their heroic brothers
Not knowing why, only that they did
So that many others might live
