Heart Of The Matter
The Moon Is Still In Sight
Fasten seatbelt,
Here I go,
Another night time flight,
I'm flying south,
Above high cloud,
The sky is black as night,
I'll see the stars,
So very far,
As always vague and distant,
The engines roar,
Take off once more,
I'm airborne in an instant,
I'm mesmerised,
I'm hypnotised,
The cloud is rushing by,
The engines fast and furious,
Steady course,
Through darkened sky,
Go swiftly now,
To meet the sun,
Go fly me unto dawn,
The sky burns red
Beneath the wings,
Another day is born,
Daylight makes its presence felt,
In shining,
Blinding light,
Above the clouds,
The sky is blue,
And the moon is still in sight.
