I remember things Momma said
Back when I was just a kid
Only then I turned a deaf ear
From Momma's words I hid
She said, Son, seek Jesus
Before the hour grows late
I said, Momma, guess I'll never walk
Beyond that pearly gate
You know that she never
Gave up on my troubled soul
Saying one day when I least expect it
God will take control
She said that in Gods garden
There are weeds amongst the rows
But through the power of faith
That weed becomes a rose
Now Momma's smiling down
For Jesus I have found

I'll soon be Heaven bound
