CHERISHED    MEMORIES

All your love letters I keep tied in a ribbon
Though you are long gone, I really can't let go
The times that I still unfold those memories
The time of our lives when all was aglow

The gifts you gave me are still kept safely
Especially the diamond set upon white gold
Those things are a permanent reminder
To cherish as I grow old

Will I ever see you again I wonder
It was a sad, sad day when our love was split in two
Will time heal and deliver strength to our hearts
One more time I want to cast my eyes upon you
