FROST FLAKES
Crisp white frost flakes
Dancing on the path
Tingle to the fingers
Making people dash
Scarves swirled frilly
Round about our neck
Cobwebs hang shiny
Silhouettes reflect
Dew drops frozen
Clinging to the edge of leaf
Teeth chatter by coldness
Warmth I want to retrieve
The joy of reaching home
All cosy, restful and warm
Snuggling by the fireside
Weak and forlorn
My cheeks turn pink
As life filters back to skin
Oh the joys of winter
Temperatures wizardry to begin
