Life can sometimes be a tug of war
The more you strive to give
Then some people want even more
Your utmost is not classed
To be your very best
Discovering yourself extremely hard-pressed
Is there a sensible limit
To the amount we can supply
Or is it elastic and stretch ne'r on nigh
Is giving like love
The more there is, the more spreads
Can we rely on others
To take similar steps
