Rebellion
Many have abandoned the Lord,
No longer worshipped and adored;
And are worshipping other gods,
They are giving honor and laud.
So now they will surely be slaves,
And when they die stink in their graves;
For they will be rotten from sin,
That has corrupted them within.
For they are just a bunch of fools,
Not following all of the rules;
Not listening when God does speak,
Just interested what they seek.
So why can they not understand,
With building faith on sinking sand;
As waves come crashing on the beach,
Erodes in their minds what I teach.
Those who desire to rebel,
Do not realize next stop is Hell;
As they spend an eternity;
And without any liberty.
