WHITE NIGHT
The night gallops along on a sturdy white stead
Bringing rest to a tired and weary brow
The stars are out in force again tonight
Causing a resplendent planetary bough
Golden moon shines in an arc of soft light
A harbour for all the lost and the lonely
Innocent souls that wander and roam
Calling them inside to a place warm and homely
White night flashes the midnight sky
As those Northern Lights take hold
Peace reigns forward for tomorrow's new day
A land for the fearless and the bold
