Thinking of You

Sitting here alone
On this warm summers' day
I can't help wondering
How long you will stay,

I feel your presence everywhere
In everything I do
Sometimes I'm overcome with grief
At how much I still miss you,

I feel you at times like this
When I am all alone
Searching for long lost memories
We once shared in our happy home,

I can still feel you
And see your lovely smile
Even though your visits
Only last a short while,

While I rest at night
I drift into a peaceful sleep
I know your visit here today
Is only mine to keep
