Dirty Little Secrets

Dirty Little Secrets

Dirty little secrets
little white lies
it all happens
in the dark of night
and he visits her
with a evil gleam in his eye
another innocent one taken
by a perverted mind

Dirty little secrets
the affair with the secretary
emotional connection lost
to the frigid wife
her actions she doesn't know the cost
and he smiles, she smiles
asking how each other's day went
if only they really knew
how each other's time was spent

Dirty little secrets
we put our finger to our lips
but sooner or later
it travels the distance
to reveal in the light
a shock, a deceit
maybe we knew all along
but denial was our walking feet

the whispers are getting louder
can't you almost make out the secret now?
