The Seeds of Beauty

O Beauty...so bold is thy fame
that none pours out like thy gentle rain
        upon the hearts of men
 Whose powerful flow moves
both the blessed and the beast
upon the plate of all men feast
without napkin or spoon or fork in hand,
burying astute judgment in the sand...
increasing in paradise the sins of man
 Where does thy strength lies
that stirs up envy in the eyes of hell?
There in the sight of God all men fell
              for thee...O Beauty
Whom play their part to mask their duty
