Rhymes of the Heart

Mommas Love

This old world couldn't hold me
When the Lord called my name
You've earned your rest
I heard Him proclaim

I heard the Angels singing
From the depths of my soul
And I new in that moment
Once again I'd be whole

So I dawned celestial wings
And I soared like a dove
To the beautiful Heavens
Wrapped in Gods love

Just be happy for me
As I fade from your eyes
It's a bright new beginning
Filled with earthly goodbyes

Oh don't weep for me children
For my heart lingers there
When it comes to Mommas love
Nothing else can compare
