End Of My Days
End Of My Days
In silence
I hear your laughter
your joy still lives on
I am carrying the torch
God I miss you
the warmth of your touch
and it will be like this
a feeling of nothing ever being the same
but I will honor you
until the end of my days
In holidays
with family gathering
in the room I see your image
tell me it's not just a spirit
and you would smile at me
I would run towards your beauty
I am now staring into nothing.....
and it will be like this
a feeling of nothing ever being the same
but I will keep you close
until the end of my days
In my heart
there is still a small part
that remains sad
and I think it always will
but I know the clouds
the very sky above me now
is your heaven and mine
and it will be like this
a feeling of nothing ever being the same
but I will love you
until the end of my days
