Poems and performance of Crocodile
Tears,
Intensity enough to put a warning label
On the performance,
And my heart jumps
And my spirit sings
That there is a place in the world where such things are not only ok, they are invited and desired.
Second time
I watch a writhing mass of bodies and music on a stage and feel that frequency again.
Intensity.
I feel like I am going to explode from the sensation of it
There is an entire group making love to me from a short distance
And my desire to return the favor overwhelms me
If I could give the same in return
I would,
On the spot.
I run on at the mouth
And I feel intensely
But it's annoyance
Not intensity
Only when I am doing poetry
Or spreading bright colors
On the ground do or can
I transfer what I wish
Intensity.
